Our first year with the campervan is over. Having survived the snow, then the rain in Ireland and a few hot sunny days followed by mud in November, we have decided that we enjoy the freedom it brings. So it is now down to thinking and planning what to do this year.
We have got 3 music festivals already arranged during August with friends to look forward to. In the meantime we have the rest of the summer to fill.
We quite like the idea of Holland as it has Floriade this year...only happens every 10 years and is quite a specatcle. From there we may mosey our way across Germany to Berlin where I lived as a child, but Brian has never seen. So the dark damp days of January will be filled with atlases, guide books, google earth and any other info we can lay our hands on to come up with a plan.
We also hope to attend a few weekend rallies locally in between as we can just decide to set off at a moment's notice if we see something that we like the look of.
